SEPTEMBER 14TH MONTHLY MEETING RECAP

“Technology: Opportunities & Risks in Corporate Governance”

Dennis McQuistion, Director of the Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance at the University of Texas at Dallas and host and co-executive producer of the award-winning, syndicated PBS television program “McCUISTION.”

Dennis offered a sneak preview of the Institute’s September 29th day-long seminar of the same title. Given all the recent instances of cyber crime (Sony, Citigroup, Epsilon Data Management, to name a few), the program topic was timely. Discussion also focused on technology changes in investor relations and the greatest challenges for IROs in the current market environment.

Dennis is a former bank CEO who consults with financial institutions and other businesses on top management issues. He facilitates strategic planning sessions, offers advice on financial and leadership issues.
